We held Field Day on the USS Yorktown again, setting up two temporary stations out on the catwalks. Brian KN4EXJ was the FD Captain and coordinated operators, food, and more.
Our most productive bands were 20m and 40m, though 15m phone opened up Sunday morning and was good for 100 or so QSOs. We got lots of bonus points, showed off amateur radio to many Patriots Point visitors, and even took a scout troop down to the stations.
Overall an uptick in the score over last year. It helped that the CW operators were well represented.
